Choir

Worship

Our musical worship at St Lawrence with St Paul seeks to encourage and inspire people of all ages to enter into a closer relationship with God. It’s important to us as a church family and we hope our praise will naturally spill over into our wider Longridge community. We have two beautiful organs which are joined by two choirs to lead our congregation through the musical elements of our 10am and Evensong services.

Senior Choir

We currently have 18 members in our senior choir which is full SATB.

During services we sing hymns, anthems, psalms, choruses and classical repertoire along with new Christian music and service responses.

The choir also sings at weddings, funerals and other church events making the senior choir a valuable and instrumental part of the church worship community.
We rehearse every Friday evening at St Paul’s Church between 7-8.30pm.

Junior Choir

Our junior choir meets once a week for Choir and Toast after school on Fridays between 3.30-4.45pm (term time only).

We work through the Voice for Life series along with learning Hymn and Classical Repertoire we also have great fun singing action songs and Sing Scripture songs. Junior choir participates in two 10am services per month along with seasonal services and church events.

New Members

We are always on the lookout for new choir members, and would welcome anyone keen on singing to come along to one of our rehearsals to see and hear what we do.
