Safeguarding
St Lawrence with St Paul is committed to safeguarding all members of our community in particular children, young people and adults at risk.
For safeguarding to be successful it requires all members of the church to accept their responsibility to report any concerns they may have for the safety or welfare of others.
The Church of England’s Safer Recruitment Procedures specifying how we must vet and appoint staff and volunteers to work with these groups are included in the Safeguarding Policy. Please see our Safeguarding Policy Statement.
A copy of the Parish Safeguarding Policy and details of our appointed Champion for Vulnerable adults ( Muriel Anderson) and a Champion/Advocate for Children and Young People (Emily Coolican) can be found on the notice board in the Tower Room at St Paul’s Church. 'To see the Church of England's online Safeguarding guidance, please see their safeguarding e-manual'
