WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith,.
The course lasts for 9 sessions, in 2022 taking place in St Paul's Church Centenary Room on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm - 9:15pm.
There is also one Saturday away day (9:30am - 3:30pm) which takes place not far from Longridge.
We will look at some key questions including:
- Is there more to life than this?
- Who is Jesus?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I have faith?
- Why and how do I pray?
- Why and how should I read the Bible?
- How does God guide us?
- What about the Holy Spirit?
- How can I make the most of the rest of my life?
- What about the Church?

WHO IS ALPHA FOR?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each session includes light refreshments, a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts. At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.

Alpha is free.
